Totally

Totally Communications is a full-service digital agency based in London who specialise in bespoke software development. The redesign of the agency’s website was part of a wider rebranding exercise, including a new logo. The new site focussed on simplifying the agency’s offerings whilst giving more insight into the company and its people.

Logo Design

I initiated the Totally Communications logo redesign with the intention of getting key stakeholders on board to start a wider rebrand and the development of a new website. The logo itself utilises a heavy font which was selected to inspire confidence and portray strength. Red was used to symbolise Totally’s passion.

Homepage

The homepage is simple in that its objective is to clearly state what Totally Communications is. The feature carousel highlights recent news or projects, and the navigation is clear and intuitive.

Persistent RHS links

Persistent links to social media, portfolio download and newsletter signup allow visitors to access these at any time when visiting the site. These were also isolated from the main navigation to help ensure it remained as clear as possible.

Agency Profile

The Agency page acts as a high level introduction to the company. Emphasis here was placed on core capabilities and the remainder of the page is divided into sections to clearly distinguish between key information. These include Totally’s approach, Totally’s clients, the Totally team and its culture.

What We Do

This section of the site delves deeper into Totally’s core capabilities with links through to more detailed information and work examples. The tabbed navigation items act as anchor links down to the relevant capability, and are further linked through the use of use of colour and iconography.

Case Study

The Case Study pages highlight varying aspects of a project and how Totally approached the website or application. Emotive imagery was selected and used to frame the story, and iconography is carried through from the Agency and What We Do pages. Images of the website or application are also presented to show the end results, and a quote from the clients effectively signs the Case Study off.

Latest: Listing

The Latest section uses a tiled approach to displaying the recent new and blog posts the Totally publish. The page also utilises an infinite scroll so no pagination is required to see older news. News can also be filtered by News Items or Blog Posts.

Latest: Detail / Post

The detailed post page places primary focus on the content itself. Other related information is presented to the user such as the author, estimated time to read the post and sharing options. Images and pull quotes are used throughout to break up the content and bring the subject matter to life. Users can also read previous comments and post their own.

Contact

The Contact page clearly shows the ways in which you can contact Totally, a well as where they are located.

Contact Form

The Contact Form obscures the content on the underlying page and requests information of the user so that a member of the Totally team can respond accordingly.

Mobile Designs

A dedicated mobile version of the site was produced for those accessing it from mobile devices. The design takes many cues from the desktop site and re-imagines others to suit the smaller touch interface.
