Key Skills

Experience Design

• Strong ideation skills including brainstorming, sketching, concept design, and best practice observation

• Creation of user flows/wireflows to map existing experiences/pain points and aid the development and sharing of new experiences visually

• Utilise sketches and low/high fidelity wireframes to create, share, refine and test concepts at various stages of the project lifecycle

• Solid experience facilitating usability testing with users that leverage interactive prototypes, including recruitment, script development, and post-testing synthesis

Research

• Employ various research methods in order to better understand and empathise with users, uncover pain points and identify opportunities for improvement

• Some of these methods include qualitative and quantitative research, empathy mapping, persona creation, survey design, feedback analysis, usability testing synthesis, A/B testing, and competitor analysis

Visual Design

• Extensive background in user interface design, having designed websites and applications for a wide variety of organisations and target audiences

• Adept at designing responsive applications that are accessible and pay careful consideration and application to layout, visual hierarchy, colour, imagery, and typography

Tools

• Experience with a range of software tools including Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision, Whimsical, Abstract, Zeplin, Hotjar, Miro, Microsoft Office & survey tools such as Formstack

• Adept at learning and utilising new tools

Team & Communication

• Confident presenting ideas, concepts, findings and design decisions with stakeholders

• Develop and maintain professional, positive and respectful relationships with clients and establish a good rapport with colleagues to promote strong working relationships
